Who We Are
The Lindbergh Foundation is a public nonprofit organization created in 1977 by Neil Armstrong, Jim Lovell, and other pioneers of flight. They founded the organization to honor Charles and Anne Morrow Lindbergh — two explorers who taught the world that technology and the environment must advance together.
Today, the Foundation raises funds to support:
- STEM education and youth innovators
- Aerospace and aviation innovation
- Environmental stewardship programs
Every contribution helps fund grants, educational programs, and initiatives like the Spirit of St. Louis Challenge, to empower young innovators and lift St. Louis as a global center of future-ready aviation and STEM leadership.
